Design the user interface for a smartphone app that extends the People Driven Design project solution developed by another student earlier this semester. Over the course of the project, move from mapping experiences and determining features to the development of a working prototype in InVision that shows how the app would operate when fully developed.
Inspired by Daniel Boone’s explorations, the reverse GPS style app lays a trail of digital ‘breadcrumbs” for the user while hiking in the mountains. The app provides useful information for the everyday hiker, including weather reports, distance tracking, and more. The app allows users to communicate with others on the trail through chats and to drop pins alerting other hikers to points of interest and hazards.
